Stock-pot is in development with their first feature 'FLY ME' bringing back on board ONE DAY's director James Barriscale, with Toby Stephens in the lead, and Tim McInnerny. “One Day” was Stock-pot’s third short, was a Kodak Finalist for Best Short Film 2007, and has been officially selected in numerous international film festivals. “Missing”, in association with Lifesize Films, was premiered at London’s Raindance Film Festival in 2004, and “The Briefcase That Brings Out The Baby In You”, an experimental piece, has been seen at a number of small British film festivals.
Stock-pot Prods was founded by Tanya Franks presenting “Play Readings of Shaw” (Theatre Museum), cast included the late Paul Eddington, and Les Dennis, with proceeds going to Shelter. “Deckchairs” (Kings Head) was the next production, which led to two years worth of drama workshops in Girls Secondary Schools funded by the National Lottery. Other theatre included “All Fall Away” and You Don’t Kiss” co-productions between Stock-pot and Pursued By A Bear. Stock-pot Prods then added its interest in film and produced “The Talking Film Series” (LIFS and Prince Charles Cinema). This was a series of live interviews with film directors Alan Parker, Mike Leigh, Terry Jones, Mike Figgis and Terry Gilliam.
